NEW Joe & Mac - Caveman Ninja is an action platformer for PlayStation 5 from Microids, developed by Mr. Nutz Studio and released in November 2022. It remakes a famous arcade game in HD, with redesigned graphics, new sounds and better controls, and it is supplied on a physical disc. The age rating is GENERIC 7. Two cavemen against the Neanderthals Joe and Mac live in a peaceful, cool village until a gang of Neanderthals snatches every woman in it. The two cave dudes set out to bring them back, battling dinosaurs and carnivorous plants through colourful prehistoric levels. The tone is deliberately goofy and bright. It plays like a funny, quirky arcade game that still has enough challenge and content to appeal to all kinds of players. The remake is described as longer, better, faster and stronger than the arcade original, with new graphics, new sounds and improved controls, and the extended mode stretches the adventure well beyond the original arcade run.
