Plants vs Zombies GW2, known in full as Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2, is a comic third-person shooter from EA for PlayStation 4. The plants finally go on the offensive in an all-out attack to reclaim their turf, while the zombies defend a suburbia rebuilt by their leader, Dr. Zomboss. The battle for suburbia gets crazier Dr. Zomboss has strengthened his horde and turned suburbia into a zombie utopia, but hope remains because the plants are taking the offensive for the first time. You can play on both sides, which keeps the matches varied and gives you plenty of ways to experiment with different characters. The game also introduces the Backyard Battleground, an interactive hub where you and up to three friends can take on daily quests and challenges and interact with favourite characters from the series. Gameplay and features Play as both the plants and the zombies 24-player multiplayer and 4-player co-op modes Solo or split-screen play against the AI across all game modes Backyard Battleground hub for daily quests and challenges with up to three friends In-game purchases are optional DUALSHOCK 4 vibration supported, and Remote Play is supported Why play Garden Warfare 2 on PS4 Online play is required for the multiplayer modes, and the listing notes that PS Plus is needed for online play, with support for up to 24 online players. That makes it a natural choice for players who already have an active online subscription and want a lighthearted shooter to play with friends. The mix of solo, split-screen and co-op play also means it works for players who prefer to keep things local. Because Garden Warfare 2 builds on the first game, it suits players who want a bigger set of ways to play: multiplayer, co-op and a social hub, with solo and split-screen options against the AI when you are at home with friends. The game carries a MENA rating of 12, and the listing notes that in-game purchases are optional rather than mandatory.
