Hot Lap Racing (Nintendo Switch) · OutGeeked Online Store

Hot Lap Racing (Nintendo Switch) is a simcade racing game that walks through the history of motorsport, from GT Cross to Formula 1. It is sold here as a physical game card for Nintendo Switch, published by MAXIMUM ENT FRANCE. Motorsport history on one game card Simcade means the game sits between a pure simulator and an arcade racer, so it should appeal to people who like the feel of real motorsport but want to jump in and race without a steep learning curve. The pitch is broad: the game takes you from GT Cross machines all the way up to Formula 1, covering different eras and styles of racing. The genres listed are Arcade, Party and Racing, and the game supports up to 12 players, so it is more than a solo time-trial game. What to expect Simcade handling that balances realism and accessibility Motorsport history from GT Cross through to Formula 1 Listed genres of Arcade, Party and Racing Support for up to 12 players On-screen text in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese Rated PEGI 3, suitable for all ages Why play it on Nintendo Switch A racing game with a party genre tag and a high player count is well suited to a console that often sits at the centre of a living room. The physical game card for Nintendo Switch makes it easy to bring along and share. Released on 16 July 2024, Hot Lap Racing carries a PEGI 3 rating, which means younger racing fans can join in as well. Because the player count goes up to 12, it is worth knowing that Hot Lap Racing is not only a solo game. If you mostly race alone it still has the motorsport history angle to keep it interesting, and if you like party-style competition it gives you a reason to get friends involved.
