MOUSE: P.I. For Hire (PS5) · OutGeeked Online Store

MOUSE: P.I. For Hire is a first-person shooter that borrows the look of 1930s cartoons: hand-drawn, frame by frame, in black and white rubber hose style. This is the PS5 disc edition, rated GENERIC 16 and played solo. A noir detective story in Mouseburg You play Jack Pepper, a former war hero turned private investigator, in a world where danger lurks even in the smallest mouse hole. A simple missing persons case soon turns into a web of corruption, kidnapping and murder, and you investigate the seedy underbelly of Mouseburg while fighting armed gangs and crooked cops. Mouseburg has plenty to explore, from dark streets and classic film studios to opulent opera buildings, poisonous swamps and underground sewers. Cases and collectibles are scattered throughout, and you can wall-run, grapple-hook and double-jump to get around. Gameplay and features Hand-drawn black and white animation inspired by cartoons of the 1930s Fast-paced FPS combat where constant movement matters A single-player campaign with over 20 noir-infused levels An arsenal of over ten unique weapons and equipment with a cartoon twist Consumable power-ups that can turn the tide of a fight Unlockable movement abilities and Metroidvania-inspired level traversal, with an original big band jazz soundtrack Why play MOUSE: P.I. For Hire on PS5 The PS5 edition supports the DualSense controller's vibration function, so gunfire feels heavier in your hands. It is a single-player, offline-only game and launched on 16 April 2026. On-screen text is available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Ukrainian and Chinese. Arabic is not listed. If you like retro shooters, this one leans into the boomer-shooter style: constant movement, a deep set of weapons and manic boss battles against a population of mice, rats and shrews. The single-player campaign is the whole experience, so there is no online component to worry about.
