Raccoon City, rebuilt Originally released in 1998, Resident Evil 2 is one of the most iconic games of all time, and it returns here completely reimagined. The all-new third-person view puts you close to the action as you explore Raccoon City, rebuilt in Capcom's proprietary RE Engine. Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield each have an individual campaign, and new puzzles, storylines and areas mean that both new players and long-time fans can expect horrifying surprises. The result is a game that keeps the spirit of the original while changing how it feels to play. You see the zombie-infested streets from close behind your character, which puts tension front and centre.
