Terminator: Resistance on PlayStation 4 is a first-person shooter set in the Future War, the conflict between humanity and the machines that the classic films only glimpsed. This listing is the physical disc for PS4. The war against Skynet The game takes you through the events leading up to the final battle for the fate of mankind. The machines are destined to lose, but the question the game asks is at what cost. Published by Reef Entertainment and developed by Teyon, it is a story-led shooter built around survival in a ruined world. Rather than putting you in the middle of an all-out war, it focuses on the human side of the Resistance: the survivors, the scavenging and the choices that shape what happens to them. Gameplay and features First-person shooter action set in the Future War scenario Run and gun, or sneak and hack your way through Skynet's defences Level up your skills as you go Explore a post-apocalyptic world and search it for scraps to trade and craft with, so exploring is rewarded rather than optional Talk to a group of survivors and change their fates Single-player game with DUALSHOCK 4 vibration Why play it on PlayStation 4 The disc runs on PS4 with HD video output at 720p, 1080i and 1080p, and the DUALSHOCK 4 vibration function adds feedback to firefights. The game draws on the world of the original films, The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and its story picks up the Future War those films only hinted at. Remote Play is supported if you want to continue on another screen. It is a one-player game, so it suits long solo sessions. Because it is a single-player game with a physical disc, it works well for players who want a self-contained campaign they can pick up and put down.
